Funny Cars Fire Up February

Norwalk Raceway Park President Bill Bader, Jr. has announced both shows will return in 2006 in one night of extreme drag racing.  The Funny Car Foxhunt/ Jet Car Nationals is set to launch on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 27, 2006.

Norwalk Raceway Park is known for rolling out the red carpet for motorsports enthusiasts, and the Funny Car Foxhunt/ Jet Car Nationals will be no exception.  The talent lineup highlights a “Who’s Who in Drag Racing,” bringing favorites such as Bob Motz 220 mile an hour Jet Kenworth; Rich Hanna headlining four 280 mile an hour Jet Funny Cars; the explosive speed and power of the 250 mile an hour UDRA Funny Cars, Norwalk’s power-surging Super 16, and fan favorite Benny the Bomb.

Norwalk will deliver two exciting shows for the price of one.  Adult male tickets are $20; all females are free on the Bar’s Leaks side.

If that wasn’t enough, Norwalk has developed a program to reward Funny Car Enthusiasts all over the Midwest.  Norwalk offers a prize package including two free tickets to the Funny Car Foxhunt/ Jet Car Nationals; a VIP parking pass, a 1/24th scale John Force “Legends Car,” and an exclusive shopping card for 20% off a Quarter Mile Clothing Company Shopping Spree.
