National Champion Bill Reichert Returns

As drag racing fans are aware, NHRA Top Alcohol Dragsters are second only to Top Fuel Dragsters when it comes to mind boggling performance, and there is an astounding list of Top Alcohol Dragsters coming to Summit Motorsports Park this weekend! The pre-entry list of Top Alcohol Dragsters coming to the 2^nd Annual B’laster PB50 Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser rivals most NHRA national events. Topping the list of 280 mile per hour missiles is none other than World Champion Bill Reichert, making a return appearance here after winning last year’s event. His list of accomplishments is nearly as long as his car: 1994, 1998, 2001, 2004, 2006 and 2007 Top Alcohol Dragster Division 3 Champion, 2006 and 2007 Division 3 National Champion, and 1999 Jeg’s Allstars Top Alcohol Dragster Champion. Bill has never been beaten at Summit Motorsports Park, but you can bet that every other driver on the extensive list of entries will be gunning for him!

Among those that are pre-registered to race this weekend are Dan Leech, Meadville, Pennsylvania, Noah Condo, Monticello, Indiana, Tom Bowgren, Valparaiso, Indiana, Brian Mans, Godfrey, Illinois, Raymond Hack, Valparaiso, Indiana, Marty Thacker, Robinson, Illinois, Bob Ginther, Lansing, Michigan, Robin Samsel, Marion, Indiana, Dave Hirata, Lowell, Indiana, Paul Fishburn, Rensselear, Indiana, Dave Weber, Northridge, Ohio, Todd Datweiler, Herscher, Illinois, Jeff Veale, Hamilton, Ontario, Mike Kosky, Cuddy, Pennsylvania, Jeff Bohr, Plymouth, Michigan, and, of course Bill Reichert, Owosso, Michigan. Remember, this distinguished list of Top Alcohol Dragster pilots represents only those that have pre-registered. Who knows who will just show up at the gate? In addition to the track blistering Top Alcohol Dragsters lined up for this program, we have an equally impressive line-up of Top Alcohol Funny Cars. Not to be missed are the four 300 mile per hour jet dragsters, two wheelstanders, the hottest of the NHRA Division 3 Sportsman racers, and on Saturday night, one of Summit Motorsports Park’s famous fireworks shows!
